About Me
My name is Gilbert Robbins and I’m from Louisville, Kentucky. I attend West Virginia State where I major in Business Administration and play football. Since I was 7, football has always been my safe space. I’m from a place where most who look like me don’t end up making it out of they neighborhood. There are many distructions, negativities, and challenges I’ve faced that could’ve easily allowed me to follow down that same path. I aspire to be somebody my city and this following generation can see. My goal is to be an inspiration to everyone who comes in contact with me personally or online.
I want the residents of this city and the generations to come to understand that it is possible to achieve more than what is depicted in the news and that successful people can come from where they’re from. Along with achieving my professional athletic ambitions, I hope to make an impact on my community. Keeping my fearless attitude reminds me to never forget about the end goal!
